If your database contains thousands of groups, it might take some time to load the groups in the treeview of the add-on
whereas in some cases it will be useless to load them, for instance if you want to open a saved lookup scheme or run a preset lookup.
That's why we added a few options in the Options>Preferences window.
As you can see in the screenshot below, you have the option to:
- not load any groups at all,
- just load the top level groups,
- not show the contact count.
If you select one of these options, a button will appear at the bottom of the main screen to allow you to load whatever did not load at startup.
In this case, no groups have been loaded at startup. To load them, use the Load Groups button.
Even if the groups are not loaded in the tree view, you can always use the Add buttons to add groups directly to the Include or Exclude lists.
When you click the Add, you get the regular select group window from ACT!
