MergeMaster Pro

MergeMaster Pro will e-mail your Word documents, without losing formatting, directly from within ACT! with the click of a button. MergeMaster Pro from GLComputing is an ACT! add-on which allows to perform HTML e-mail merges without requiring HTML coding.

Why do I need this add-on?

You need it if you want to create great-looking e-mails. ACT! E-mail system is text-based. Whatever formatting you apply to your MS Word template will be lost when you e-mail the document. Fonts, bold, colors, images are gone. MergeMaster Pro will convert your document to HTML and e-mail it without losing formatting. You may also attach files to your e-mail merge, a feature not available in ACT!.

How does MergeMaster Pro do it?

MergeMaster Pro uses PurePage technology to convert MS Word files to HTML. Without any knowledge of HTML, your documents are automatically converted to HTML.

How does it work?

The process is the same as a mail merge in ACT!. You need to create a template (MS Word only. ACT! Word Processor is not supported). Then you click a button on the toolbar and the main screen shown below appears. It is very similar to ACT! mail merge window.
