CustomFill
CustomFill is a very versatile add-on which purpose is to calculate a field value for the current contact, the current lookup or all contacts. This value can be:
- an automatic number which can combine an automatically incremented number (you choose the Start value), the value of a field (can be truncated) and a string of your choice
- a value based on another field value
- the result of a calculation (CustomFill can add, substract, multiply or divide)
- a date and time stamp.
- an age (difference between dates)
CustomFill can be operated in:
- automatic mode using ACT! trigger feature or
- manual mode (CustomFill is then displayed as an always on top toolbar with buttons you need to click)
When in Automatic mode, it can be used in:
- full stealth mode (no warning)
- splash mode (a splash screen appears to tell you a field is being updated)
- prompt mode (you are prompted to accept the automatic update)
